Wool is naturally very breathable and regulates temperature. Babies can hardly regulate their own body temperature and are particularly susceptible to overheating or hypothermia. Babies in plastic car seats often have soaking wet, cold backs in the summer because there is no fluid reservoir between the seat and the baby - for body steam and sweat. Wool prevents this steam build-up and allows the baby to travel dry!

lyttn is PURE sustainability! The product itself is made from 100% renewable raw materials. The wool in particular deserves special attention because it comes from Germany. The sheep are responsible for work on the dike that machines cannot do. Mowing, trampling, carrying seeds and animals from A to B, and thus making an important contribution to biodiversity!

lyttn seat covers are 100% plastic-free. The top is made of German wool from sheep that lyttn knows personally; the wool wadding inside comes from French organic sheep; and the bottom is GOTS certified organic cotton. The packaging is of course also plastic-free, so the lyttn package is a clean affair all around!

It is important to lyttn that people and animals are treated fairly and that everyone in the value chain is doing well! This is achieved by personally checking all work steps and making them transparent. Our own sewing shop can easily be set up fairly, but the loden production, including the spinning mill in Germany, also meets the highest possible standards and is visited by us regularly.
